  5. I reckon it was late spring 2 years ago I went though there, at a dodge tide....Could spot salmon, some would have been pushing 40cm or so I reckon. Big fish - but only ever caught barely legals around there. I'm positive they were salmon as well - sunny day, could see them clearly.

I've gotten into it pretty recently...Just bought my first decent outfit, loving it!I started by catching a few redfin and trout in SAFWAA dams - with a $70 7 weight combo I picked up here on S+H.   12. basically every stream/lake has them. A few posts on here about Wirrina - don't know about legal anymore though.Google Earth is your friend!Last thing about SAFWAA's dams - they're all basically around Meadows/Willunga Hill - you wouldn't regret it if you ever get in the fresh. Cheers
