Also 1200 times more poisonous is an exaggeration."TTX is roughly 100 times more poisonous than potassium cyanide"http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TetrodotoxinAnd then following the reference from Wikipedia"Blowfish poison, called tetrodotoxin, is nearly 100 times more poisonous than potassium cyanide, according to the Ishikawa health service association."http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/jan/27/blowfish-testicles-poison-diners -
I bought a pair of neoprene waders from Anaconda. After a dozen trips they started to leak and I returned them.

Definitely a zebra, you can see the stripes. We only get silver drummer in SA, no black drummer. They are ok to eat but you need to bleed and ice, then when you fillet you need to remove the stomach lining or it taints the flesh. -
I caught a nice 40cm flounder during the ABT kayak westlakes round. Kept it in my livewell and it happily shared space with a bream.Took it home for dinner that night.

Easy to get a hook out.I have removed over a dozen both in the field and in the emergency department.Same technique as per the video but I would have removed the treble from the lure first or at the very least tape up the other treble so it doesn't catch.First pull has to be hard and fast to be effective. Here is one of the more definitive articles on the subjecthttp://www.aafp.org/afp/2001/0601/p2231.html -

Not sure if they are members here but head over to Australian Surfcasters Federation and have a look. Eddie has casting get togethers every now and then.

Several members have had bad experiences redeeming scoopon vouchers.$80 for a 4 hour fishing trip is good value but it will only be local for small species. Would you be happy with a trip out catching only gar or squid? My main concern would be the time to redeem the voucher.Valid from 16 March 2012 to 31 July 2012 AND already 400 soldMost of the issues with scoopons are to do with overselling and inability to redeem vouchers at a convenient date before they expire. Do a google search and you will find many unhappy customers. If you do buy, I would be on the phone very quickly to lock in a dat
