This is also giving me a couple of days to get a video together so you can all see the great prize pack on offer.   At the end of December the site staff will choose the best report. Reports should be posted in any of the forum categories not in the comps category as we can check all new topics posted up in December. You can target any fish, crab, cephalopod, saltwater or fresh, boat or land based, if you catch heaps or none at all. All reports are up for the prize as long as it's legal and clean. We will be looking for a quality report, get us immersed in your fishing adventures, photos always help tell the story, videos can really add an exciting edge too.

Now there is a solution looking for a problem!

You will have to get friendly with my younger brother the boat is his I just get the pleasure without the cost.It comes out of the water tomorrow for a barnacle scrape a cut and polish and a brand new side scan 3d sounder fitted.To many$$$$$ for my liking,but worth every cent.A bit different to the 12 ft tinney and the 5hp seagull we started fishing together in many years ago.

Hoping to spend 4 to 5 days cruising the west coast of KI if the weather is permitting.

For only the second time in 13 years the company has decided to close for 2 weeks starting on the 22nd. Refuse to play tourist in peak times as I don't like people!
Plan is Squid, KGW and Crabs local in close.
Also hoping to try this metro beach malarky??

I'll hopefully shoot up to the family shack (Moonta) in between new years and Christmas and get a bag of bread and butter fish, gar, squid, crabs. 
Rugger snapper on the light gear too if all goes to plan.

Now I have got my new boat and suitable fishing gear I am hanging to get out and get me some Tuna
Plus chase some Reds as well so if it all comes together be on the lookout for a smiling fisho

Well, I 'll be keeping away from the popular areas on the rivers and just sticking to a few that I know others rarely fish.. Still a lot of people do stay and camp in theHighland Lakes areas, but the rivers do get a hammering over the holiday period.. worst time of the year for me with the rivers...

I must say i agree with ol' Poops ....in that i'm not overly excited about fishing over the Xmas & New Year's period .........Every is out and it becomes a true Googan's Paradise!
I do however hope to take my lil dude out- when school Hols start but before Xmas- for his first cockling adventure (unless they close it again ) and hopefully a rock sesh down Deep Creek.
Otherwise we'll be targeting reddies on some private property, hopefully with a mate and a 6-pack....... or ill just mtb instead!

My fishing plans for Xmas & New Year will be spent in the shop helping everyone else to go fishing and hopefully helping the holiday fishers catch a few fish, always rewarding when they come in the next day to thank you for helping them catch their first fish

I don't mind either way but am really fed up with this "nanny" state. Make new laws so they can introduce more fines.
I believe the boat length will go on what the rego papers say but my makers length and the rego length are different, 4.55 or 4.69? I know I am under but what about others??????
