Most guys that I have seen on the beaches over the last 40 years,couldn't cast an overhead reel to save their lives. Those video's show how to cast the right way,using skill and technique,something that the spinning reel crowd will never understand.Spinning reels were designed for mug casters. Although they are great for throwing light weights.

A friend of mine is a chef. He warned me about Basa years ago. :whistle: It's sad to think that around 80% of our best seafood gets exported and we end up with crap like this. Wouldn't feed that poison to a cat and I hate cats.

Rejuvenated some dried up Gulp with Omega 3 fish oil recently. Works a treat. In fact it works better than Gulp juice.

There are lots of thumping Bream at a South Coast spot,which are living quite happily with the Carp and Redfin in a freshwater environment. You just have to explore and persist.
