                  Most of the foliage has been washed away on this corner of the Mersey River.

     

     

     

     

  2. I've never used the dry method only used the wet method.. 1 tablespoon of Brown sugar, 2 tablespoons salt to a pint of water.. I also add a small dose ( 2 tablespoons) of soy & sweet chilli sauce to the mix, drop the fish into it, cover and leave in the fridge over  night. Dry fish with paper towel and then hot smoke.. This is what I do when I keep a trout or two throughout the trout season on the odd occasion..

  3. Well I have upgraded from my Canon SX500IS PowerShot camera to a Canon EOS 700D SLR Camera, have had it for a couple of weeks now, It's a lot different to the powershot that's for sure.

     

    Slowly getting used to all the mod cons on it, will take a little while longer before I'm completely confident with it though.. This camera will "NOT" be coming in a river with me at all.. still have two

    SX150IS compact powershot camera that will be used for my trout fishing in the rivers..

     

    Any way here's a few pf my practice shots... All taken from in & from my backyard.
