well done for getting behind tha site with a great comp like this, pretty sure most of tha site would love to put there name to a rod design, I sure as bloody hell would, i'd love nothn more than to take my boy out fishn with something I had designed do you have a list of current rods that you stock so that we are not doubling up on an item you may have already designed cheers 4THA

not only the amount taken but the size "most being under sized" total disregard full stop they will plead ignorance and a slap on the wrist incurred (hoping they have been caught before and cop it hard )bringing in an RFL would surely have to be a positive impact towards stopping this sort of activityit would never stop the true criminals that would still risk it, but help combat the taking of undersized or more than your limit fisherman by having signed the licence to say you understand the rules-regs. so therefor are in breach and would put in the back of their mind there would be no pleading ignorance scenario.just my opinion and how I think it could make it better for our future cheers 4THA426' date=' WTF[/color']! :c Bring in the RFL and increase the penalities for this sort of action

found this on tha S.A police news page Monday, 23 September 2013 3:16pm Catch of the Day: Barossa Police bag law-breaking fishermenThree fishermen have landed themselves in hot water with Barossa Police, after 426 blue swimmer crabs, nearly all of which were undersize, were discovered in their vehicle.Police were assisting Fisheries Officers when they stopped and searched the men’s vehicle at Port Pahram on Friday evening. Two men, aged 50 and 51, were issued with expiation notices totalling $1,500 each and their equipment was seized for exceeding bag limits, and taking undersized crabs. It’s the second time this week that Barossa Police have ‘pinched’ fisherman for flouting PIRSA regulations. At 3pm on Wednesday, police patrolling the foreshore of Thompson Beach witnessed a fisherman, assisted by a woman, loading plastic tubs and crab rakes into a car.Police discovered 27 undersized swimmer crabs in the tubs, which were released back into the water.Police wish to remind the community that persons who conduct illegal fishing activities will forfeit their catch and may have their equipment, including vehicles, seized. Before you hit the water, be sure that you’re familiar with size, bag, boat and possession limits- See more at: http://www.sapolicenews.com.au/component/content/article/19-lsa/17462-catch-of-the-day-barossa-police-bag-law-breaking-fishermen.html#sthash.81NOq2ob.dpufI cant believe how many :c stupid people are out there raping our fishery and doing this sort of shit it makes me :c furious, start tying nooses and hang em I say like Des mentioned in another post to fish in S.A you need to sit a simple test to say you understand our rules and sign off on it I would happily pay a fee to do so cheers a pissed off 4THA

I did a charter in QLD a few years back and they only used circles on livies which they pinned through the snout/mouth area and the hook up rate on tha cobia was 6 out of 6 all corner lip hooked I have also used them in the port for mullys with same success only losing through bust offs got this from C.H smith marine page Gamakatsu Big Bait Circle Hooks Gamakatsu Big Bait Circle Hooks are a heavier gauge circle hook for bigger fish but with a straight shank. It is a great hook to use for all large cut baits in both ‘floater’ and deepwater paternoster rigs, or with live baits. It can be slow trolled with live bait for sailfish/small marlin. Circle hooks will automatically set themselve's, turning in the fishes mouth and resulting in less fish hooked deep and more hooked in the corner of the mouth. Gamakatsu Big Bait Circle Hooks are a great hook to use with all the advantages of circle design which ensures as close to 100% catch rate after hook-up.I also use OWNER tournament inline circles just my personal experience though i'd swing Mrballs a p.m he's tha man ya wanna ask cheers 4THA
