With things quiet around Port Lincoln they made a quick trip up to Whyalla where they got onto quality reds up to 20 pounds. Sheringa Anglers fishing Sheringa’s beaches are reporting tommies, whiting, and mullet. Some 4 to 5 kilogram salmon are being caught from the salmon beaches. Almonta / Gunyah Beach Early mornings have been best for good size salmon. Farm Beach Out wide of Sir Isaacs boaties score

  20. Elliston The Elliston jetty has had good reports of the usual specimens found in the area such as tommies, garfish, and squid. Locks Well has had schools of salmon in the 2-3kg mark keeping anglers busy, with fish holding close to shore during periods, giving anglers the option of casting lures. A few flathead have also been reported being caught. Sheringa Try first beach for a few whiting, and the salmon beach has also had decent size salmon holding in the area.
