1. Ardrossan- been fishing it ever since i was a youngin. its my 2nd home.... 2. Port Lincoln- Amazing fishing to be had, monster everything. (hope to move down there one day)3. Elliston- Another amazing fishing jetty... oversize fish, and an amazing view.4. Rapid Bay old- good memories fishing that jetty... 5. Port Broughton- Caught my 1st every kingy off that jetty... went 10 kegs... i was only 14 at the time to... never been back since but lol.

even though i dont have one at the moment "YET" i will be going to get a wilson live fibre texi surf rod... well out of ya price range but id save up.... if not any of the wilson 4120, 5120 range would be great as well.. i have two 4120's spin and overhead.. the spin i use for my salmon fishing and jetty rock mully fishing... the over head is just used for salmon lure casting big heavy lures... my spin one is matched with either the spinfisher or an diawa emcast ;)as for line i have both 25lb mono on both the spinfisher and the emcast and on the 2nd spool of the emcast i have 50lb braid...O and i have a 13ft diawa sensor surf aswell havent used it yet but once i sort my 4x4 out it will be getting a workout...

Not to sure it would be a mully if you were getting the bait back chomped in half,just the head left ect.In my experience missed mully runs normally end up with the bait crushed,or scaled...or both, they dont feed by chomping baitfish in half,they generally crush it in their jaws then swallow them whole,their teeth structure..although nasty looking is more designed for pinning ,this combined with a powerful jaw is what crushes .They dont chomp at things leaving half a fish ...maybe a soft bait like a pillie will break apart but firm scaley fish like tommies and mullet will either one of 2 things crushed with teeth marks or scaled as I said.Just my 2c...all the best on your quest and good luck with it.

Yo dudes bagged this beaut :cheer: brown Tuesday arvo in Lake Eucumbene with a sz 16 black wieghted fur seal nymph on a 5Ib tippet.I will put a report up in the next day or so under interstate reports with a bunch more fish from the last two days on the river and the in the lake. Cheers 1fish

hey fellas long time no post lol. well anyway my young fella has been onto me for ages too go fishing his only 3.5 years old but knows what lures reels rods and so fourth are.So the other day we grabbed him a chepo combo too thrash around as kids do and that just increased the amount of can we go fishing dad being asked as too be expected though gotta love em .Well yesterday seemed like a good time too take him for his first flick .Headed down too a spot on the river where a few of us regularly catch our live bait knowing there is always schools of something around there and got him all set flicked out a few "baby worms" aka gents under the float and showed him where too hold the rod and let him go.A few minutes later he was onto his first fish :woohoo: a bream of around 20cm but too him it was fighting like a pointer on 24kg gear so after a slight drag adjustment on the plastic reel and he landed his first fish for hte after we hung around for an hr or so and he got a few mullet couple of st's and scored a double header reckon i might be in trouble in around another 10 years time or so .MM

Well where do i Start.... well i guess at the start LOLi have been on this forum now for well over 2 years... I got put onto this site by Waterboy (mark) who to this day are still good friends....Some of my closet friends to date (well all of them) are fellas/ladies i have met from SH.. All the banga crew have been good mates for the last year and we can see ourselves fishing still together for the next 30-40 years.. We have all learnt new techniques and experiences from each other and its only been in the winter that we hit the fresh and smashed it... As for the site it has helped me alot, As Carps said it hasnt helped my pay packet each weeke though.. it gets addictive looking through the site seeing what people have bought and you just have to go out and buy it and give it a go yourself :D.. But yeh as people know i am always willing to show the way with tips and showing them the ways of the art of fishing... I have met plenty of good people on this site, some i know only by username but hoping to get out and get a chance with alot of you guys... (rickster, Jack, AFF, 4THALOVE etc etc) and i know that if i keep giving good things and helping people on the site i know good karma willcome back my way :)SO thank you to everyone ive met, spoke to fished with etc,,, for making my fishing experiences more enjoyable and ines to remember for along time :)O and thanks to AAron for getting the site up and running

it would be a very good trout reddie lure .....

as i was going for the baitrunner option myself i checked out the 4000d baitrunner and when someone from here said about the bailarm being flimsy and didnt feel right etc i had a look for myself and id agree with it... its an very thin bail arm and looks like it would snapp under pressure... the speros are pretty cool but i prefer my rarenium

i reckon 4000 would be the goer... as i said i like rareniums as they haave a spare spool... however i also got the strdic ci4 there nice, the fj stradics are smooth as to, and ive just bought a shimano technium 4000 around the 200 mark 8kg of drag holds alot of line and has a spare spool but im more of a fan of shimano then diawa.. but yeh i just suggest talk to the boys at the tackle shop and see what feels good for you.. as something i like might be different for you

i havent seen the older models mate... but yeh for 150 well worth the $$$ thats for all of them from my understanding in the camo range
