dutchy got a reaction from Underpants in Vaccum packing baits
Vac packed baits will store, Freeze, pack & transport better The easiest cheap way to vac pack bait is .... Fill bucket of water Put left over bait into zip lock bags pull bottom corners under water to push air out zip up bag Bags can be rinsed & reused My cryovac can strugle with sucking juice out of bait So I just use it for Prime fillets :cheer:

Shark cage diving would be amazingI do worry that we are training sharks to come up to boats :blush:Not such a problem in a 30ft shark cage boat Not so great when 5m of angry fish is hanging off my prop dragging the transom under !!!

dutchy got a reaction from SHEEP in Light Tuna Outfit
Tuna are fairly clean fighters the problem with going to light is no lifting powerI have used a 2000 diawa reel with a heavy bream rod to get 4 tuna 12kg :woohoo:think was around 6 pd line & leeder didn't drop a fishHad to drive the boat to lift each fish ave 30 mins eachDid a write up a few years ago with pics but can't find it Any good snapper size lure outfit will work a treatOther rod was a diawa 3500 dh custum & that was perfect All good until a 100kg monster destroys you :pinch:
